Possible side effects may include headache, flatulence, and breast pain.
Estradiol transdermal patch, Rx only, may increase the risk of endometrial cancer, stroke, deep vein thrombosis and probable dementia in women 65+ when using estrogen alone, and stroke, deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, myocardial infarction, stroke, invasive breast cancer, and probable dementia in women 65+ when using estrogen plus progestin.
